Dobbin joined Baird in 2018 and brings over 30 years of experience in wealth management He guides the investment and portfolio management strategy for the team, while creating custom solutions for clients. Prior to Baird, he served as Senior Vice President-Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley and Managing Director with Piper Jaffray/UBS.
Education
Dobbin received his BA in Political Science/Economics at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.
Team Role
Dobbin has always had a passion for the fixed income market and has distinct expertise in managing both municipal and taxable bond portfolios. Dobbin oversees client relationships and has established deep trust with clients over many years of providing client-centered advice and investment oversight.
Community & Family
Dobbin volunteers at The Ronald McDonald House & Feed My Starving Children and served on Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Wright County. He and his wife, Shannon, reside in Wayzata, MN and have five children. As a family they enjoy skiing, tennis and watching their kids play hockey, football, baseball and golf.
